Finding good coffee outside of the main metropolitan centre is not easy. The risk usually results in us ordering tea. Peels place is the exception, really nice coffee, not Florio but really close and certainty a satisfying cup. (perhaps a little expensive at $4.20).
The Food is really basic, but well cooked. Just the other day we where commenting on the need to be imaginative on the menu, rather than just doing the basics well. This place does the basic very nicely and that is great to see. They are not trying to be something they aren't. We have since changed the grinders that didn't work. The whole place has been revamped, the menu and the coffee is as good as ever.
